Privacy Policy
This page is maintained by Seconity GmbH and describes which personal data we process when you visit this website.
1. Controller
Seconity GmbH, Im Fliegerhorst 10, 38642 Goslar, Germany
Managing Director: Lars Bornemann
Email: kontakt@seconity.com
Please send data protection inquiries to the same address with the subject line "Data Protection".
2. Website access (server logs)
When accessing this website, your browser transmits technically necessary data to our hosting service provider: IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, referrer URL, as well as browser and operating system details. This data is required to deliver the website, ensure its stability, and detect abuse.
Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation). Transmission is TLS-encrypted.
3. Contact and inquiry forms
When you use our contact or inquiry form, we process the data you enter – first name, last name, company, email address, phone number, the selected areas of interest, and your message – to process your request and contact you.
Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (your consent), insofar as you wish to be contacted beyond this. You can revoke consent given at any time with effect for the future.
To send form messages, we use an email service provider as a data processor. Your information will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for processing and no statutory retention periods prevent this.
4. Newsletter
For the newsletter, we process your email address based on your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email or by message to kontakt@seconity.com.
5. Cookies
We use technically necessary cookies to ensure this website functions properly. We only use optional cookies with your explicit consent via our cookie banner. Details can be found in our Cookie Policy .
6. Recipients and third-country transfers
We only pass on personal data to the extent necessary to fulfill the respective purpose – for instance to hosting and email service providers acting as processors on our behalf pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Insofar as processing takes place outside the EU/EEA, we rely on an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
7. Retention period
We store personal data only for as long as required for the respective purpose or as mandated by statutory retention obligations (in particular commercial and tax law retention periods).
8. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), as well as the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR).
In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority – responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection Lower Saxony.
9. Changes to this Statement
We adjust this privacy policy whenever our processing activities or the legal framework change. The version published on this page applies in each case.
